POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB

Imagen
Since I started studying at the university, I have dreamed of teaching and transmitting experiences to others, but I would also like to do research and creative work related to choreography. What is needed in teaching dance is outside of an office, rather I imagine myself in a rehearsal room, academies or that style of places, I would love to travel a lot within the country, especially in regions and more distant places that do not have access to  arts in general, since most people must go to the capital, Santiago, to be able to have those experiences. Among the specialties that my career has is teaching and being a choreographer, personally I would take both, I feel that they contribute a lot to one's background, but they can not be taken at the same time, so first I would like to take the teaching specialty and then the other one . Also, one of my dream jobs would be to participate in a company abroad being an interpreter and absorbing as much experiences as possible t...

POST 4: A PERSON I WOULD LIKE TO MEET

Imagen
One of the people I would like to meet is Ohad Naharin, he is from Israeli, he is considered one of the most famous choreographers in the world, he has been in the dance world for more than 40 years.  H e began his career at the age of 22 studying at Julliard and the American National Ballet School. In 1990 Naharin created his own technique, which he called gaga, the main objective is that his dancers feel within themselves every part of their body and every detail of the movement. In addition to creating his own language and creating different choreographic pieces that have had an impact on the world of dance, his career has also included   o ne of his most important initiatives which was to find a company with its own professional identity whose aim is to train new generations of performers, both Israeli and foreign, and to cultivate original talents in the fields of music, design and choreography. The reason why I admire his work is the fact of transforming danc...

POST 3: A DAY TO REMEMBER

Imagen
One of the days I remember the most was when I was able to study dance at the university, it was a very intense week, so I remember it very well. To enter dance you must take a special test, which lasts four days and is passed in stages. The first day I was very nervous, but once I arrived and was in the rehearsal room, I calmed down little by little. The second day I was already more sure of myself and with the choreographies that had to be done and that same day gave the results to move to the next stage to which I passed. The third day I remember that I had to dance in front of all the teachers, when it was my turn and I was dancing in the room, the music stopped, the radio was with problems, so I had to start all over again, The last day and the one I remember most happily, I arrived early and we were all the applicants in a room for the final interview, I stayed with some girls I met those days waiting to be called. Everything went well and I felt very comfortable in...
